FAQ

All bulk materials and pre-bagged are available for pick up.

You will be greeted at the truck entrance gate by our staff who will take your order and instruct you on where to go. Payment is by Credit Card, Lyngso Account if you have one.

While in the yard, please stay in your vehicle at all times.

Once materials are loaded in your vehicle, you will drive to the drive-up window to pay; payment is by credit card or house charge if you have a Lyngso account.

Yes, you may bag U-sacks. Please wear a mask and gloves as you will be using a community shovel or bring your own shovel. Please go to the parking lot yard entrance, you will be greeted by Lyngso Staff who will give you bags and tell you when you can enter the bagging area so we maintain social distancing.

When you are done bagging, you will drive to the drive-through window to pay by credit card or with your Lyngso account.

We have an online order system for bulk materials. We can deliver products in these categories: Stone & Gravel and Composts, Mulches, Soils & Amendments

For everyone’s health and safety, there will be a limited number of customers allowed in our yard.

Yes, we can provide no contact pre-paid will-call pick up of some of our products in the parking lot. Please note that it may take us several days to fulfill your order.

Yes, you may place your pre-paid In-Store Pickup order on our website beforehand and have your gardener or contractor pick up on the date and time specified on the order. It is important to have your gardener or contractor bring a copy of the order with them, without an order number and verification from you specifying the person picking up the materials we are unable to load.

Please note that contractor discounts will not be applied to orders that are not directly placed by a contractor with a valid contractor license.

Rental trucks are no longer available from Lyngso. For decades, Lyngso has provided this service and during COVID, the decision was made to no longer rents truck.  However, we still can load your vehicles and offer deliveries. We also encourage our customers to place a delivery order directly online for select materials.

Yes but we recommend making an appointment with our sales staff ahead of time for extensive inquiries. They will meet you in the parking lot, assist you in our materials yard, show you the products, and answer any questions. Our yard staff will load palletized products with a forklift and dump bulk materials in to your vehicle. If you need help hand loading material into your vehicle, our yard staff will do their best to accommodate you. If the product requires two people to load, please be aware you may need to wait for assistance on busier days. To speed your visit up you may also wish to bring help along and load yourself.

Our Product page is arranged around eight product groups: Mulches, Composts & Soils; Stone; Water Features; Building Materials & Tools; Fertilizers & Amendments; Sand, Gravel & Decorative Aggregates; Pottery & Garden Ornaments; Precast Concrete Products. By clicking on the product group image, you will be taken to a page that breaks the product group down into categories, click on the image of the category or click on the left sidebar to get to the individual product families, click on the family image to get to the description and pricing for the individual products within a family.

The banner on the left side navigates you to the groups and the categories within each group.

Once you select the bulk quantity of the product, either yards or tons, the calculator icon will appear up under the text. Click on this icon to input your width, length and depth of the dimensions you wish to calculate. Press the “Calculate” button. The answer will appear in the “Yard” (cubic yards) field. The conversion factor is indicated between the “yards” answer and the “tons” field. The number in the “tons” field is the result of multiplying the number of yards times the conversion factor. Press the “Update Quantity” button and the Calculator window closes and the number of tons needed for your dimensions appears in the selected product amount field on your shopping list.

There are 2000 lbs. in 1 ton. Our U-Sack bags are capable of carrying 100 lbs. per bag. Therefore, it takes approximately 20 U-Sack bags for 1 ton.

There are 27 cubic feet in 1 cubic yard. Our U-Sack bags are 1 cubic foot, therefore, it takes 27 U-Sack bags for 1 cubic yard.

Absolutely! If you bring your own containers, be sure to know the volume of those containers so we could charge you accordingly. For example, a 5-gallon bucket or a 32-gallon garbage can.

Yes, we are happy to fill the U-Sack bags for you. Due to time and labor costs, we charge $5.00 per U-Sack bag to fill them up. We need a minimum of 2 business days’ notice to fulfill your order.

Our delivery fee to local cities starts at $125 per trip for dump deliveries and $185 per trip for flatbed deliveries. There is a 1 ton or 1 cubic yard minimum per material for us to deliver.

We accept most returns within 30 days of purchase.

All returns must have an original receipt.

All returns have a 25% restocking fee.

No returns or refunds on Mulches, Soils, Composts, Custom Soil Mixes, Clearance or Sale items.

Card purchases will be refunded to the same card and the card must be present.

Cash purchases under $50 will be refunded in cash.

Cash purchases over $50 will receive a check refund within 14 business days.
